Pool Days are gone :(

It's 52 degrees right now.  The wind is blowing. Fall is here.  It's so easy to forget how HOT this past summer was.  It was hot. It was hot. It was hot.  But, it made for some awesome pool time and we went often.  Dan would regularly take the kids to the pool after dinner.  This is one of my favorite things about the summer...staying at the pool until the sun goes down.

I remembered to take my camera on one of the last pool days.  As you can see the pool was empty. As social as our family likes to be, when the pool is empty it's pretty cool.  Almost like having our own pool without all the maintenance.

This is why it's fun to have the pool to ourselves...and also why my kids have the best daddy ever.

All in all, it was an excellent pool season.  We are already counting down the days until Memorial Day Weekend!

    I love the last pic!! :( I don't want warm weather to be over just yet. It was so cold today! and then I told myself in a few months we're gonna think a day like today is hot! :)

    Those were some cool shots you got! I did like going to the pool with you in VA after dinner before sunset. Good times. Wish we could have made it out there this summer! Maybe next!

    btw, for some reason you have to click on the vid "screen" to watch (the play button doesn't work).

    I can never get enough of the pool with the kids. Every year it is easier/more fun because they are all starting to swim on their own. UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

    All your kids made great progress in the water this summer. Makes going to the pool so fun for the whole family. Next summer my place with a pool in the backyard??? :)
