Happy Birthday Simon!

January is birthday month at Our Plain Life. We have one a week for the next 3 weeks. Simon kicked it off on Monday with his 4th birthday.  He's been asking pretty much since Christmas..."is my birthday the next day?"  So when "the next day" finally came he was very excited.  He happily got ready for school "so my friends can see my birthday." Not sure what there was to see, but, oh well.

We only do "friend birthday parties" every other year, starting in Kindergarten so we didn't do anything really big.  I think he was just happy being the center of attention. Poor last child. :(

The birthday crown stayed on for just about the whole day. :)

Happy Happy Birthday Simon!! No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby! (Don't worry it won't be in the creepy "Love You Forever" sort of way...).
