No, not the fact that I am finally starting a blog, but this is the year that we knew would eventually come and now it's actually a reality. We always said we would like to move closer to family, and now the time has come.
In the middle of September, Lord Willing, we will be digging up our roots from Northern Virginia and moving out west to the Kansas City area. I thought this would be as good of a time as any to start a blog for those curious folks out there who may be interested in our life and to keep you updated as we start our new venture in the Plains of America.
So glad the blog has been born. Aaahhh and no matter how you figure it, you're still moving closer to the Farmers. ;)

What an exciting time you all have ahead of you - aside from the whole packing up your entire house part with three wee ones underfoot ;)! However if anyone can pull it off with style and grace, while still maintaining their sanity it is most definitely the Eekhoff clan!

ReplyDeleteHey Reb, Great job on the blog!! I wish I could see the pics bigger though! I wanna see a good pic of Landon. We're so excited to have you closer to us! And of course what can beat the midwest? Who doesn't love 100mile/hour winds, humidity in the summer, snow in the winter? But, on the other hand there are beautiful sunsets!!! sunrises - as Georgia pointed out to me this morning, green grass, beautiful trees with snow on them in the winter! Oh yah, snow that you can actually build something with rather than a pewny snowball you tried to tell Annika was snow :) Anyway, we're so happy for you guys!! Love, Ab
