Even the curls had curls!

I only need my fingers to count the number of days to my sister's wedding. We are very excited over here! Officially, both the girls are flower girls; however, we aren't sure if Taryn will actually go down the aisle. It could all go well, or be a complete disaster. The latter would make an interesting blog post, I am sure!

Anyway, both of the girls have been "blessed" with my not so exciting straight hair. Taryn, especially, but to add to it hers is also fine and wispy. I have been thinking about how we are going to do it for the wedding. I have curled both of their hair with a curling iron and it turns out pretty good. But, I thought I would see what would happen if we used soft curlers overnight. So after bath on Saturday night, both the girls got rolled.

I went in to check on Taryn about a 1/2 hour after we put her down. She was still wide awake and it was no surprise that she was complaining about the curlers. I figured I would just take them out. This was the result! (Remember they were only in for less than 2 hours...imagine if they were in all night!)

Annika did better and actually slept in them. This is the end product after we took them out in the morning...I used the bigger curlers on her.

Once I combed out Annika's hair it looked cute and when Taryn woke up her hair was back to being totally straight. For the wedding, I think I will try the curlers again just not for as long. Watch for pictures in the next few weeks!
