On Thursday night we had a special visitor come over! Grandpa P was in town! He has to travel all over the country for his job and his latest trip brought him to Our Plain Life's neck of the woods. We were very happy that he could visit with us for a night. He even got to be an "official taste tester" for my first loaf of Anadame bread (check out my post over at Half-baked Beauties). Thanks Grandpa P for coming to visit us!
On another note, by this time tomorrow, Lord Willing, I will be done with the Half-Marathon! So if tomorrow morning around this time you are lying in bed, drinking your coffee, and reading your paper, would you say a prayer for me? It's supposed to be a balmy 37 degrees at race time!!
good luck tomorrow reb!!! I'll be thinking of you ... and how crazy you are :) but seriously, i hope it goes well!!
ReplyDeleteAll that hard work and time is about to pay off with a real sense of accomplishment! Hope it goes well and you stay warm.
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow. Wow that is cold
ReplyDeletethe all bundled up girls and pumpkins look a little out out of place together.
Best wishes tomorrow! I am so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see that Annika was on the "Cool Bus" at the pumpkin patch. :) You'll do great tomorrow, have some carbs and go to bed early so you're nice & rested. You'll be so proud to have been able to do it. Best of luck, I'll say a prayer for you!
