Christmas Past

Yeah, so much for my being thankful, right?  If you only knew how many times I thought to myself, "I am really thankful for this, I need to blog about it."  I would have more posts that you can count!  I never meant to call  myself a "blogger."  I am more like a "when I want to take the time to post something semi-interesting about my life" blogger. O.k. enough with the disclaimers.  On to other things...

I thought I would celebrate this Christmas season with a little blast from the past.  We were attending Grace Bible Church in Lorton, VA at the time of this video.  It was Annika's first Christmas pageant.  I was very pregnant with Taryn (she was born on Jan. 31st). The flock of 2-year old sheep started to get a little, um, antsy. It didn't help that Annika's wool was molting.

I love watching this little video, I hope you enjoy it too!

  4. Ahh the memories! I wonder what this year will hold? While we have done away with the shedding sheep, we have continued the tradition of little people worshiping Jesus in any way the spirit moves them!!!
Funny to think that all of those little sheep are the "big" kids this year!
    Missing you guys!

  5. Oh, yes I remember. It was so funny. I also have noticed that there have been no preschooler sheep in the Christmas Eve productions since then. ;)
