The kids got their fill and played in the snow both Thursday and Friday. On Saturday they were over it a little. We'll see how they react if we get more on Sunday night. Apparently, another 6-10 inches is looming in the clouds to the West. Bring it on! I've got milk, toilet paper and cable. I'm good to go.
I took these pictures on Thursday...in the midst of Snow-mageddon...it was coming down pretty good when the kids wanted to go out into it.

On Friday, it was a great day to go out and play. But, because our street still wasn't plowed Dan couldn't get out to go to work. Bummer. :)

Enjoy the snow days everyone! Or, for my SoCal family, enjoy your 70 degrees and sunny days! :)
Off to check out the forecast...
Landon takes after Dan and can sleep anywhere!! Looks like a fun time despite the cold and snow. Yep, it's breezy and mid-60's today; looking forward to 80 next weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteWow that is some snow! Looks like the kids were having fun. Not anxious to head back to the snowy midwest but I know it is much needed moisture.
ReplyDeleteI love this post...and roads weren't cleared for dan to go to work? wow! wish that would happen here! :) mom E - fyi: we aren't getting the amount of snow they are in KC - we did have fun in the snow that we did get today tho!
ReplyDeleteAbbie...our side street wasn't done until mid Friday.
ReplyDelete...and a second storm is on it's way today! That "bobsled" run is going to be great with a second snowfall!
Love it that Taryn couldn't even hear you yelling under all those layers of warm hats and hoods! I guess I have been in California too long, but that doesn't look like that much fun after maybe one afternoon. ;)
