The garden wasn't to be left out. The other night we got some rain, so the next morning the garden was nice and wet...perfect for weeding. Now, the garden is Dan's thing...but every once and awhile I get a little crazy and tackle the weeds. It wasn't as bad as a few years ago, but it was still a decent undertaking.

On a side note, I have been keeping an eye on this little lady.
We had some crazy wind a few days ago, but I am happy to see that she and her eggs are still safe and sound. She's in one of our trees that's only about 5 feet off the ground so she's at perfect eye level. Speaking of eye level...doesn't it look like she's giving me the stink eye? Don't mess with a mama and her babies!

By "crazy winds" you mean 60 mph! A storm front came in on Saturday, and the result was a number of tree limbs in the neighborhood bit it; however, not any of our trees. It must be due to my ability to grow them perfectly :).

She looks absolutely gorgeous in this picture and when I walk into my bedroom and see her life size she just knocks my socks off because when I walk up to admire this gorgeous little beauty she literally appears to be standing directly in front of me and looks as though I can reach out and touch her which is really cool! The display is warm and silky smooth so when I stood there looking at her for the first time I was curious what it would be like to lean close and start kissing her! She looked like she was directly in front of me and my heart was beating 90 miles and hour at the thought of being able to kiss her. I really felt embarrassed and was afraid she might say something but I though what the heck. I leaned close and began kissing her. She literally blew me away. I was like OMG! It was like she came to life and I was really getting to kiss her!
