We've been Jivin...off the couch...
Landon must have been feeling like a middle child or something because he decided he needed more attention. So a little somersault off the couch put him in the E.R. this past Saturday. Fractured elbow. Excellent. Below is a picture after the morphine kicked in...it was quite funny. He said to me, "Mom, we need a bed like this at home. It is SOOO comfortable." "Mom, when my arm is in the cast I will be careful not to bonk you with it. That will hurt because I will be so strong." Apparently, the morphine made him feel like Superman. :)

Landon had a head start on our Christmas Break (har, har). Hopefully if all goes well his cast will come off the 2nd week of January. The cast is waterproof so it shouldn't slow him down too much. Thankfully, it's not pool season! He was even able to play in the snow this morning.
Since we have a lot of crazy stuff going on around here, Our Plain Life will be taking a Christmas Break as well so this will be my last post of 2012. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!

Wow that's not too long for him to hafta wear the cast. That's really nice! Landon :) When we heard he might've broken his elbow, we're like...what did he do now? hah! I told the boys Landon broke his elbow and they asked he did? I said yep. Eli said, I like Landon, he's funny!
