Soo...we are 5 months into 2014. Happy May Day y'all!! I thought I would take a look at my goals that I put out there waaaayyy back in January, when I was naive, uber-hopeful and excited about 2014. Isn't that how all years start?
Anyway, my 2014 goals:
Reb's 2014 Goals (in no particular order):
*blog at least once a week
*workout 3x a week
*get new family pictures taken (photographer recs appreciated!)
*go camping with friends at least once this year (if you want to join us, let us know!!)
*Simon potty-trained by Summer
*clean out computer files
*get Simon's first year pictures in some sort of scrapbook
Let's review and see how things are going...
*blog at least once a week
...eeh...yeah, well, from my blog post count for 2014 I am at 17 posts. And, we are currently in the 17th week of the year! So, yippee!!! Now, all you nick-pickers out there, no going back to see if each of those posts were actually one a week. Details, details.
*workout 3x a week.
This one I am actually the most proud of. My little workout studio has been keeping me going. Getting up for my 6:10 a.m. class 3-4 times a week hasn't been too bad!! Yes, that's right, sometimes I go 4, even 5 times a week! Whoop! Whoop! I just signed on for another 6 month membership. Last night at dinner we were trying to get Simon to eat his asparagus by having him show us his muscles after each bite. This started a whole "show me your muscles" cycle around the table. For once, when I showed them my muscles, I didn't get any pitiful looks. Take that!! Time to go to the gun show! Yeah, o.k., I'll stop now.
*get new family pictures taken.
Our high-tech point and shoot on a tripod at Easter didn't count. Even though the picture of my peeps and I turned out pretty cute, I still need professional help! This goal isn't done yet, going to maybe wait until we all are a little bit tanner. Pasty white doesn't do much for me. :)
*Going camping.
This WILL happen. Was looking at tents the last time I was in Costco. It's too cold right now, but thinking in June we will be crossing this off my list. The thought of doing this with my family is really exciting to me!!! Really, no sarcasm! I love camping and I know all my kids will too!
*Simon potty-trained by Summer.
Nope. Nope. Nope. This is going to be harder than I thought. Apparently, he thinks going on the potty is one big joke. Super. Technically, I have until June 21st for this one. I think it will take a miracle.
*Clean out computer files.
Done and done. Thanks to the fact that we had to get a new computer.
*Get Simon's First year pictures in a scrapbook.
I got a tip from a friend about a scrap-booking method called Project Life. I am really hopeful that I can knock this project out. Got all the stuff and now I just gotta do it!!
Only 7 more months in 2014. You would think that will be plenty of time to get all this stuff knocked off my list!! How are you doing on your goals? Anything you have completed that you want to brag a little about? Go ahead, I'll listen!!
