We're melting!

In the end, there was a lot of snow.  And, since we've paid our dues, we have been blessed with a gorgeous 70 degree day!  So, that means, our beautiful white snow has melted and left behind tracks of deep dark mud.  Good times.  Simon is definitely enjoying himself. I am taking a lot of deep breaths.

With this great weather, Landon is getting some great use out of the digger he got for Christmas.  Even though we did pull it out for him to dig in the snow, it's more of a warm weather toy.  You may remember that he was totally enamored with a similar contraption this summer.  Now he has one of his very own! If you need a hole dug to China, he's your man!  We are slowly moving it around Dan's garden with the hope of having it all tilled in time for planting. :)

Happy your day is full with all the good things of Spring...and mud, lots of mud.

  1. It's like you are in Southern California!!! I am sure the kids were happy to put shortsleeves on with NO jacket! Now it's just too bad we can't enjoy both of our nice weather on either of our porches with a tall glass of lemonade! :)

    1. Lemonade? Make it a New Age and Lime for me. ;) This summer, definitely, this summer.

  2. Notice Landon sitting back in the first photo. A gesture that suggests he has been no part of Simon getting into the mud.
