Catching up

Before I can talk about this past weekend, I need a quick catch up...
For Mother's Day Annika "invited" me to a preschool Mother's Day tea during the last 15 minutes of class. She was so excited when I came in. She was concerned that Landon and Taryn weren't with me, but was glad that our neighbor was watching them. She said, "Is it just you and me?!" She showed me to our seat and told me we could "only take one of each treat, so there is enough for everybody." I could tell the teacher gave a little prep beforehand. They sang a few songs and recited Psalm 139:13-14. She served me applejuice and cookies. It was all very sweet. All the kids were so excited to serve their mothers! If it could only by that way all the time, right?!

Last week Tuesday and Wednesday night we were excited to host our friends from Naturally Caffinated Family as they are moving from Arizona back to Virginia. We had a fun time eating, playing games and staying up way too late! There were also an abundance of good laughs. Isn't that what friends are for anyway?
