Wedding pics

It was a beautiful wedding. Anna looked incredible (Jim didn't look too bad either). Annika did great walking down the aisle. (We didn't even try with Taryn). We told her to smile big and throw out the flower petals. Even with minimal practice she did great. She made sure to get all the petals out of the basket, even if it meant she was still throwing them out while she was sitting in the pew. Watching her walk down the aisle made me a little choked up. She looked so grown up! Then when Anna walked down the aisle the tears really came. What a beautiful bride! It was surreal watching my younger sister walk down the aisle to the man that would be her husband. To think that just over a year ago, we didn't know Jim at all and now he's family. (He's probably wondering what he got himself into!!) Anna is now a wife. Yep, it's surreal.

Here are some pictures. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures with all the kids together!! The day was a little hectic, and I just forgot. I was glad we got a decent family picture.

She wanted some yogurt while we were waiting for the ceremony to start. Covered her up in a sweatshirt to make sure it didn't get on the dress.

The bridesmaids had different black dresses, but all the shoes matched.

Even though Anna and Jim chose to see each other before the ceremony, they still wanted the first time they saw each other to be a special private moment. Little did they know they had an audience...no special private moments here!!

The ride from the ceremony to the reception was all of 10 minutes, but our little flower girl was tuckered out!
