I hope you had a great day yesterday celebrating our Risen Lord!!! We had a
b-e-a-u-tiful day! We were even getting a little bit warm while we were outside. The kids cheeks were nice and rosy and layers were being taken off during the course of the afternoon. We were able to celebrate with our friends from Kansas and Virginia. The G's used to live down the road from us in Virginia, and after being stationed in WA for a few years are now about an hour away from us! You can run from the Plain Life, but you can't hide... we will always catch up with you!
The best Easter pic I could get, isn't it nice? The patience of the kids (and me) was wearing thin so I just gave up.

Some of the kiddos hunting for eggs. It's amazing how fast 7 kids can find 85 eggs.

The guys hid some of the eggs for the ladies...I had my game face on. It paid off because I found the most. Hey, these days it's the little victories!

All 9 kids (Landon just got up from a nap, hence his look of confusion). They had a great time playing in the yard and enjoying Spring!

Hope you all had as blessed of an Easter as we did!
He is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed!
Three things I noticed:
ReplyDelete1. the look on all the kids faces in the first picture are hilarious -- that's really the best you could get?
2. I love Taryn's haircut
3. you look so much like Mom in that picture! So, the VP competitiveness doesn't wear off as you get older, huh?
Glad you had a great Easter! Christ is risen indeed!!
Happy Easter - looks like fun!!! I would love an adult egg hunt LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, the TRADITION LIVES ON!!! Hooray for grown-up egg hunts! We missed y'all. Easter isn't quite Easter without a pretty flower from you on my table. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI appreciated you not informing them that I was beaten in the men's egg hunt competition...it haunted my dreams last night! The competition was much stiffer here than the cake walks I had every year at the Fannings!
ReplyDeleteCan u give SD back its weather please? Its freezing here!
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of the kids - hah! :) The joys of trying to capture the "perfect picture"
ReplyDeletenice jim carey line. :)
