Any "House Hunters" fans out there?

Picture Suzanne Whang walking along saying..."Dan and Rebekah are moving their family from Northern Virginia to the Kansas City area in two weeks, will they be able to find a house in time? After a weekend of looking at nearly 30 houses, the couple was able to narrow it down to three choices.

Will it be House #1 with the great yard but is on the top of their price range?

Or House #2 that is spacious but farther out?

Or will it be House #3 that's brand-new with a great layout but smaller lot?

Which one will they choose? Stay tuned...

  1. I love House Hunters! I think you should go with #1 or #2 ... gotta have the big yards!

  2. I predict it will be house #2! It's not like you all aren't used to spending a little time on the road after living in Northern Virginia for the past 7 or so years ;). Besides, Kansas City rush hour has nothin' on Virginia traffic. What's a few extra minutes here or there anyway?

  3. gosh...they all look great. One thing I gotta say about a big yard (like our .23 acre) is that it takes a LOT of time to mow every week. With 3 littles, you may not want to spend 1.5+ hours doing that...they're all just beautiful. Praying a good decision is around the corner! love you!

  4. Um...I think they always pick house #3 on HH. I can't decide so I am going to have Big S weigh in when he gets home from work.

    Aloha!

  5. Oh, I am SO ADDICTED to that show right now. The suspense is killing me. If I were watching the show, I'd say number 1 because the couple always stretches their budget, but knowing thrifty Eekhoffs, I'll say number 3.

  6. Oh what great choices! #1 is lovely and #2 is beautiful too, it would be great to have a nice sized yard. I think I have to agree with Heather about #2...can't wait to hear!

  7. Hey! I'm glad to "meet" a new blogger and will definitely be checking in to see how things are going!

I LOVE House Hunters! :) I don't know how you can go wrong with any of them. How exciting to be moving! Well, exciting for someone else. We talk about selling our house and looking for something roomier all the time. If we do it, I vote for selling the house and everything in it (except for pictures and such) just so I don't have to pack it all up! :)

    Take care!

  8. Knowing team Eekhoff, they are going to select house number two. They are used to being farther out and they need that big yard to plant some corn! Plus, selecting house #2 will mean more $ saved, thus more trips to San Diego to see the family and the Farmers. Need I say more...
    Big S.

  10. my vote is for house #1. i know it is in the top of your price range, but i didn't see any neighbors in the pictures. there just looked to be a lot more distance between houses. although a bigger yard is more work, dan would be able to have a HUGE garden and the kiddos would have a big yard to play many games of tag. :) good luck!

  12. I'm gonna go with selection #3. It has an unfinished lawn that could some how be landscaped to have a tigerhawk in it. Oh I can see it now! Beautiful!

  13. Isn't it uncanny that all look so similar?! I have to agree with Big S, plus it's the prettiest (just barely). However, I would have to agree with Rachel on the mowing.

  15. Knowing Dan, I doubt whether he will pick the house that is slightly out of your price range. I think they all have good "curb appeal" but I would have to see the floor plan before I could pick one. Good luck
