On Tuesday she told me that I didn't have to walk her to the door, she could go into the class by herself. I knew that I didn't have to, but mommy kinda has to do it for her own selfish, "I'M not ready to let you go by yourself" reasons. It makes me so happy to see the big smile on her face when we pull up to school in the morning.
Monday was also Dan's first day of work...he didn't have to be there until later so he left after we did...here's a picture of his first day. ;) Don't know what kind of smile he has when he pulls into work everyday.
Ice Cream Sundaes to celebrate the first day of school
Make sure you get every last bit!
She is her father's daughter!
she is too cute. :)
ReplyDeleteEverybody looks very happy.
ReplyDeleteAww congratulations mama! I was offended J1 didn't cry when I left him the first day. He cried, too when I picked him up on his first day of preschool. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's gonna love it and make great friends.
Zach was the same way on his first day, it was me who cried on the drive home! We also had a celebratory ice cream at the end of the day as well! The only difference was that ours was courtesy of Micky D's since we didn't have any ice-cream on hand at home (evil, tempting, creamy-cold goodness).
ReplyDeleteShe DOES look happy. Neat picture of her with her back pack.
ReplyDeleteDan, you can't go to work without shoes.

Okay, A looks so cute, but Dan, his first day is even cuter! Mark is wondering where he works (wearing shorts and no shoes)... Microsoft? ;)
